Semi-independent living 16 -18
At our units, services to the 16 -18year olds semi-independent
outlook is our main area of focus.T. Our service caters for the needs of vulnerable young people in need of support and care as they near adult age. The idea is to ensure they develop personal skills, complete an education and gain effective pathways towards long or short term employment goals. We usually cater for young people who are ex-offenders, section 20, unaccompanied minors and those with low to extremely challenging behaviours

Our service practice designs bespoke care and support plans in which monthly progression is SMART. We can review what has been put in place and take corrective measures as individual circumstances change based on individual needs. We also apply a matching policy to ensure there are no conflicts to the careful development plans set for all our unit residents.

Floating support (18 -25-year-olds).
Our over 18 sometimes requires ongoing support - situations where there is still a need to support young people of adult age in a step - down approach. We make this service available in our fully furnished units in solo or shared accommodation with other young adults. support hours are typically 5 -10mhours and solo placements can be arranged as required. in this service, we support our service users with access to their entitlements and welfare packages. We also advise and mentor on education and employment.
Emergency placements - up to 18 years of age.
In situations where there is an urgent need for temporary or short term care, we are able to organise accommodation and support. The placement may occur through breakdowns in care home placements, foster care or when a young person needs to be bailed from custody at the local police station. These types of placements may be required out of office hours which makes it difficult to house them immediately with most providers. the service also comes with a 'responsible adult' service where a member of staff will receive the child from custody or detention over an offence that has resulted in an arrest.
Young mother and baby
We provide support and accommodation to young mothers between the ages of 16 -18 years of age. Providing them with the support they need to become self-dependent and competent enough to raise their child or children while making their opportunities for self-sufficiency a realistic outcome. We do our part to ensure these young people are not deprived of a bright future as a result of child care responsibilities. We will also work towards their needs and work towards mitigating barriers to progression.
